What made the expedition complete was the participation of the two directors, Lars and Pieter, alongside senior management. This was particularly relevant, as one of the organization's goals is team building. Ultimately, the effectiveness of a team is determined by the interaction between all its members. Trustoo's management has shown that atmosphere and team building are key pillars of the organization's strategy. By being open to diversity and giving a warm welcome to so-called "social outliers," the company knows how to attract and retain rare talent. This is especially crucial for IT-related companies, as the tight labor market makes retaining talent at least as important as recruitment. The investment in team building and a positive work environment pays off by keeping these scarce talent categories on board. During the evaluation, it quickly became clear that a large portion of the participants had experienced significant mental growth during the expedition. This was remarkable, as a shortened program of only two days had been chosen to reach the summit. Normally, an extra third day provides just that little push needed to push personal boundaries. This time, however, the results were achieved within just two days. Unique!
